A photography competition was organized for the students of classes IX to XII. A first of its kind to be conducted in the campus, the competition garnered much excitement. Around seventy students participated enthusiastically, clicking more than 140 photographs on 13th April 2024. The theme was S.M.A. – My Second Home. Photographs were clicked in two categories – School buildings (black and white) and anything except School building (coloured). The students exhibited great enthusiasm and submitted their entries (two per participant) in hard copies on 16th April 2024 to the teacher organizers (Ma’am Rajni Saxena and Ma’am Elvira Fernandez).
Mr. Ojha Kishan was invited to judge the photographs. Three winners emerged:
First Position – Suvarna Choudhary (Class X B). She was awarded a trophy, a certificate and cash prize.
Second Position – Drashti Jha (Class XII Commerce). The student was awarded a certificate and cash prize.
Third Position – Rishita Singh (Class XI Science). The participant was awarded a certificate and cash prize.
The prizes were sponsored by Mr. Kishan Ojha in honour of his late father who was a noted photographer of days gone by, in Ajmer.
Sr. Anusha, the principal and Mr. Ojha gave away the prizes. The principal then congratulated the participants and winners and, also thanked Mr. Ojha for encouraging the students in this creative art form.
