English Short Story Writing Competition
An English short story writing competition was organised by the S.M.A. Alumni Association, Ajmer on 7th September 2019. The competition is sponsored by Ms. Shalini Keswani (1992 Batch) in honour of her parents. Thus, the SudhaJyot Excellence Award for Creative Writing has been initiated for the students who excel in the art of story writing.
The students were divided into 5 categories: Class VI, Class VII, Class VIII, Classes IX & X and Classes XI & XII. The students were asked to write stories on the basis of the given prompts. A panel of judges was requested to read through the stories and ascertain the winners in each category.
The winners will receive books (fiction/ non-fiction) as well as S.M.A. Alumni Association certificates.
The School is proud of Ms. Keswani (author of Bonds of Freedom) for her thoughtful gesture of encouraging students to hone their writing skills.
