Inter-House Debate Competition 2019
On the occasion of Hindi Diwas the Gandhi House organised a Hindi debate competition on 13th and 14th September 2019. The students of Classes VI to XII engaged in a battle of words and wits. The topic for Classes VI to VIII was: ‘Desh ki suraksha yuvao dwara hi sambhav hai’ and for Classes IX to XII the topic was: ‘Parmanu bomb ka upyog desh ke hitt mein hai’.
On 20th and 21st September the Shastri House put together an English debate competition for Classes VI to XII. The students of Classes VI to VIII battled on the topic ‘Plastic bags and packaging should be banned’ whereas the senior classes (IX to XII) debated on the topic: ‘Our current education system is preparing our youth for a bright future’.
The experience was quite an interesting and enlightening one!
