Inter- House Quiz Competition 2023
21st and 22nd July 2023
The Inter- House Quiz Competition (stage round) was organized on 21st July 2023 for classes IX to XII and on 22nd July 2023 for classes VI to VIII. Four teams in each category who had secured the highest points in the preliminary written round on 29th April 2023 made it to the final round. The Stage Round comprised of Literature Round, Brain Teaser Round, Audio/ Visual Round, Subject Choice Round and Rapid Fire Round. In Subject Choice Round, the contesting teams were asked to choose one subject from the following: Social Science, Science, Current Affairs, Entertainment, Computer Science and Sports.
Tejal Choudhary and Priyanshi Lalwani of Shastri House emerged as winners in the Senior Classes Category whereas Aaryaa Sharma and Khadija of Gandhi House were the winners in the Junior Classes Category.
The quizmaster Ma’am Elvira Fernandez read out the rules at the beginning of each round. The scoreboard was kept by Ma’am Varsha whereas Ma’am Rajni and Ma’am Meenakshi Malhotra kept the time and handled the question bank on stage. They were assisted by the Captain of Gandhi House, Labhanshi Bansal.
The audience comprising of students and teachers participated enthusiastically and answered the questions passed to them by the Quizmaster.
