St. Mary’s Convent Sr. Sec. School, Ajmer participated in the Bishop Henry Fortunatus Caumont Inter School Debate Competition organized by St. Anselm’s Senior Secondary School, Ajmer on 19thNovember 2022.
The competition was open to schools from Ajmer in the Senior Category. A number of schools enrolled for the competition. The invitation for participation was graciously accepted by Sr. Principal. Divanshi Utwani and Anjali Pedwal represented S.M.A. in the English debate. The topic of the debate was: Being active on Social Media makes one socially inactive. While Divanshi spoke in favour of the topic, Anjali spoke against the motion. The speakers were judged by an esteemed panel of judges from a wide range of professional backgrounds on the basis of Content, Expression/Gesture, Delivery, Voice modulation and Overall presentation.
Anjali Pedwal secured the position of the best speaker individually. The school secured the First Runners-up position on the basis of the aggregate marks of both the participants. This is yet another diamond in St. Mary’s crown. Long live St. Mary’s!
