S.M.A. set the mood to welcome the 73rd Independence Day with a Patriotic Singing and a Classical Dance Competition on 14th August 2019. The students participated with great enthusiasm.
The students of classes VI to VIII participated in the Inter-House Patriotic Singing Competition. They sang songs such as Aye mere watan ke logon, Vande Mataram, Mera Joota hai Japani, Dil diya hai… etc.
The senior students from Classes IX to XII participated in a Classical (Solo) Dance Inter-House Competition and performed gracefully on many well known songs. The vibrant costumes and well rehearsed moves added to the charm of the dances.
The Judges seemed to be in quite a dilemma as they went through each performance. The audience applauded each performance loudly and encouraged the participants.
