St. Mary’s Sr. Sec. School, Ajmer organised a Sports Day for the students of Pre-primary and Primary classes (L.K.G to II) on 11th February 2023. Mr. Ravi Kant Sharma from the Nagar Nigam presided as the Chief Guest while Mr. Prakash Jain, the President of the Inter-Faith Association, Ajmer consented to be the Special Guest. The morning commenced with the Torch Relay which formed a meaningful part of the Sports Event.
The students participated in hurdle race, 50 meter race and relay race. The audience was left spell bound by the drill and karate display by the youngest members of the S.M.A. family. Proud parents captured many photographs and videos of their wards participating in the various activities.
The highlight of the day was the race by the mothers of the students. The spoon and marble race was a huge success in which the parents participated enthusiastically.
The Chief Guest and Special Guest motivated the students to give their best in everything they do. The Principal, Sr. Anusha expressed her delight to see the little ones participating so eagerly and willingly. Sister also spoke to the parents encouraging them to motivate their children to indulge in co-curricular activities along with academics. The principal stressed on the fact that every child is different and must be given the right environment to develop her talents.
The Event culminated with the Chief Guest declaring the Sports Day Closed and the Sports Flame being extinguished. Everyone present sang the National Anthem with great fervour and pride.
