Christmas Celebration 2019
‘Christmas is the time for loving, caring and sharing’.
The students were extremely excited to celebrate this beautiful festival. The programme began with a prayer service after which the play ‘A Christmas Story’ scripted by Ms. Elvira Fernandez was performed by the students. The play brought to the fore the true meaning of Christmas.
The Chief Guest for the Day, Rev. Fr. Vishal Raymond, then enlightened the students about the true meaning of Christmas through a short message. On behalf of the S.M.A. family Sr. Sheena handed over a sum of Rs. 50,000 to Rev. Fr. Vishal for the meals arranged by the organization Disha Aahaar. Furthermore, the Christmas joy was shared by the Sisters, Teachers and Students as they presented gifts and sweets to the special guests of the day.
A Carol Singing Competition was organized by Mr. Clifford, the music teacher for the four houses. It was very difficult for the judges to ascertain a winner. Nehru House forged ahead and bagged the first position.
The students eagerly received the Christmas chocolate before they left for the Winter Vacation.
