CBSE National Gymnastics Championship 2022 – S.M.A., Ajmer Winners!
St. Mary’s Convent Sr. Sec. School, Ajmer participated in the CBSE National Gymnastics Championship 2022 hosted by Gaudium School, Kollur, Hyderabad from 24th to 27th December 2022. This was the first time that this tournament was organized in South India in which 1700+ athletes competed from more than 700 schools across the country and the middle east. This mega sporting event witnessed the performances of National and State level gymnasts from different renowned schools.
Gymnasts from S.M.A., Ajmer escorted by their coach, Mr. Mohsin Khan represented the school in Under 19, Under 17, Under 14 and Under 11 teams. St. Mary’s Ajmer secured the first position in all categories except Under 11. Jyeshtha Sharma’s hard work paid off as she bagged the third position in Floor Exercise in Under 19 category. It was a proud moment indeed when Jyeshtha received the medal from Padam Bhushan, Padam Shree Pullela Gopichand, PV Sindhu’s coach.
