The Eco club of St. Mary’s Convent Sr. Sec. School, Ajmer has organized Plantation drive in school and ardently contributed to the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ compaign, spearheaded by the esteemed Prime Minister Shri Narender Modiji in observance of World Environment Day on 5th June, urging all to plant a tree as a tribute to mothers.The students were motivated and encouraged to actively participate in Plant4Mother compaign to foster a sense of personal responsibility for environmental conservation. Our students from Class I-XII planted saplings at home or public place with their mothers ensuring to nurture their respective saplings.Each sapling that planted was displayed by the placard with the name of students and their mother.
To ensure the success of this compaign Principal, teaching/ Non teaching staff and Community members collaboratively planted saplings in the school premises on 27 July, 2024. On this occasion, the Marians expressed gratitude to Mother Earth and pledged to nurture and conserve their green friends for the rest of their lives.In order to mark the importance of World Nature Conservation Day celebrated every year on 28 July, the students of class IX C presented a short skit during morning assembly to raise awareness about the importance of preserving and conserving natural resources and environment.
