Children’s Day 2019
On 14th November, Sr. Sheena and the teachers organised a special prayer service for the students. The teachers prayed for the well being of the students and their loved ones through prayer intentions and a hymn. After which a self composed roseate sonnet was recited for the students by Ms. Elvira Fernandez. A Children’s day message and warm wishes were extended by the Principal, Sr. Sheena. Sister also invited the students to celebrate the day to the fullest but keep in mind the rules of the School while enjoying the fete.
The fete commenced at 8:00 a.m. with many stalls laden with mouth watering delicacies like pani puri, garlic bread, bhel puri, momos, shakes and even ice-creams. The School campus was abuzz with the happy chatter of the students and colourful with the banners of many much frequented food joints of Ajmer. The children also participated in various interesting games and danced enthusiastically to the songs played at the Request Stall. The members of the School Eco Club performed their duties diligently asking the students to dispose the waste in dustbins and not to litter the School grounds. The happy day came to an end with the Lucky Draw at 1:40 p.m. wherein the lucky ones received their prizes from Sr. Sheena and Sr. Kiran Jojo.
