The sun played hide and seek among the clouds on the morning of 15th July 2023 as St. Mary’s Ajmer prepared to install the new office bearers of the student council. The event began on a prayerful note with a reading from the Holy Scripture and a hymn. Then, it was time to introduce the new office bearers and for them to take the oath. The following students have been elected for the session 2023-2024:

- Nehru House – Vanshika Sharma
- Tagore House – Jiya Jain
- Shastri House – Anjali Lalwani

- Gandhi House – Riddhi Bhambani
- Nehru House – Delisha Singh
- Tagore House – Sanskriti Tak
- Shastri House – Shagun Motwani

- X A – Drishti Sharma
- X B – Aarfaa Farooque
- X C – Samridhi Chauhan
- X D – Rubina Khan
Once the office bearers were ‘sworn in’ in the presence of the Principal, Sr. Anusha all the members of the four Houses pledged their allegiance to their leaders and the school. The oath was administered by the Head Girl. The Captains and Sports captain beseeched the Heavenly Father through prayer intentions to guide them in their line of duty and help them in their studies as well. The Principal, Rev. Sr. Anusha then addressed the gathering and reminded the leaders of the solemnity of pledge they had taken. Through an interesting story, Sister Principal motivated the leaders to take on their responsibility and do their best. At the same time Sister also guided the members of all the houses to co-operate with their office bearers and perform their duties responsibly. Then the Head Girl proposed a Vote of Thanks wherein she expressed gratitude to the Principal, teachers, her friends and juniors. The compere Elvira Fernandez called the solemn ceremony to a closure by announcing for the National Anthem. It was a beautiful moment to watch the students dressed in their house colours, singing the National Anthem in unison with great pride and fervour.
